Diffraction of Ultrasonic in Air with a Goniometer
Determination of the Angular Intensity Distribution of a Planar Ultrasonic Wave diffracted by a Quadruple Slit, Diffraction Minimum and Maximum
A plane ultrasonic wave is created with an ultrasonic transmitter and a mirror. The plane ultrasonic wave is diffracted by a quadruple slit. The amplitude of the ultrasonic can be adjusted.Behind the quadruple slit the angular intensity distribution of the interfering partial waves (Huygen’s Principle) is recorded by means of a ultrasonic receiver and a goniometer. The built-in computer interface allows to directly record all data with a PC.
