Hofmann Electrolysis Apparatus

For the Electrolysis of Water and for Quantitative Determination of Generated Gas Quantities

The design of the electrolysis apparatus with screw connecting caps assures firm electrode support. The silicone hose and the levelling vessel allow for pressure compensation between enclosed gases and atmospheric pressure, and thus accurate measuring values. This is particularly important if the apparatus is to be used as a Coulomb meter or when working out Faraday´s laws.
