Simulation of test for transformedbacteria by taking advantage of the factthat Escherichia coli bacteria mutatespontaneously:Paper discs saturated with differentantibiotics are put on petri dishes withagar which was previously inoculatedwith E. coli and incubated. Theantibiotics diffuse into the agar andprevent growth of antibioticssusceptible bacteria. After extendedincubation in these zones of inhibitioncolonies become visible. These areantibiotics-resistant bacteria strains.
