Principle

How long does it take for an energy saving lamp to reach full brightness? Energy-saving lamps (compactfluorescent lamps) are increasingly replacing customary filament lamps. They have the disadvantage that they need a longer time until their light reaches full brightness, because their brightness is temperature dependent.
