Function and Applications

Glass tube for holding a plug of cottonwool. Used on bioreactor air vents to make it difficult for unwanted bacteria to penetrate into the bioreactor. The GL18/8 screw-cap enables it to be opened for changing the plug.

Equipment and technical data

The tubing connectors on each end have diameters of from 4 to 8 mm.
