Function and Applications

To demonstrate spontaneous foldover of the dipole axis of the "Weiss domains". Induction-voltage pulses generated during magnetisation or magnetisation reversal of the wires in a coil are made audible in a loudspeaker (after amplification).

  • 1 soft iron wire, 1 steel wire and 1 nickel wire imbedded in a plastic block each.
