Free fall

Principle

The students should investigate the free fall of an object in the gravitational field of the Earth and record the fall with a recording timer and recording tape. From the data obtained they should determine the acceleration of the falling body, which must be equal to the acceleration of gravity.

Task

How does a stone fall?

Let an object fall and register its fall with a recording tape which is attached to the object and a recording timer.
