The Boyle-Mariotte law

Product No: P1223100

Principle

Boyle's law describes the relationship between the pressure and the volume of a fixed quantity of gas at constant temperature. A glass syringe enclosed in a glass jacket is used to capture about 50 ml of gas. A pressure meter is connected to the tip of the gas syringe in order to measure the pressure inside. The plunger of the gas syringe is pushed in or retracted from the syringe, and the volume and pressure of the gas are recorded in each case.
