Principle

From the experimentally determined relationships R  ? I with ? and A constant, and R  ? 1?A with ? and l constant as well as R ? l?A the equation R = ?  × l?A was worked out and resistivity was introduced as a material "constant". The students should use this equation to experimentally determine the quantity ? for common conductor materials.

How high is the resistivity of some metals?

Determine the resistivity of copper, iron and constantan.
