Acceleration of a spring pendulum with an acceleration sensor

Product No: P1500560

Principle

The oscillation of a spring pendulum is recorded by an acceleration sensor. For this, essentially only the sensor, a spring and a rubber ring are required, no further equipment is necessary. The principle of harmonic oscillation can be so qualitatively explained in a very simple way. From the measured values, the characteristic frequency and the spring constant can be determined, or the amplitude behaviour of forced oscillations be observed.
