Linear uniformly accelerated motion is an important special case
in which a body moves with constant acceleration. According to
Newton's second law, constant acceleration is connected with a
constant application of force. The laws of uniformly accelerated
motion can be applied to everyday occurrences. The possibility of
directly measuring acceleration enables a uniformly accelerated
motion to be very easily examined. In this experiment, an
experimental car is accelerated along a roller track by a falling
weight.
