Function and Applications

Set for additional demonstration experiments, complementary to the student set. Especially suitable for teaching of natural sciences in primary school and early secondary school.
In the handbook TESS beginner student and demonstration experiments (additionally available) 5 demonstration experiments are described:

Absorption of heat radiation
Flow of water due to heat
Heat transport in glass and metal
Temperatures in different waterdepths
Ice floats, maximum of density of water at 4°C

Heating and cooking hotplate, 230 V, 1500 W.
Stainless steel pot, 3.2 l.
Convection of liquids tube, small.
Test tube, black.
Test tube, white.
Glass beaker, tall, 600 ml.
Thermometer, -10 / +100°C.
Rubber stopper, d = 32 / 26 mm, 1 hole.
Holder for thermometer / tube, 3 pieces.
Graduated vessel, 1 l, with handle.
Glass rod, boro 3.3, l = 200 mm, d = 3 mm.
Copper wire, d = 3.0 mm, l = 250 mm.
Ceramic lamp socket E27 with reflector, switch, safety plug.
