Information about the measurement of electric fields and potentials

The electric field meter PHYWE offers a unique measurement system with the following capabilities:

• deflection-free measurement of electric field strengths, for example, in the environment of charged conductor spheres or in a parallel-plate capacitor
• measurement of electrostatic voltages with extreme sensitivity (with resolution of 0.1 V)
• electric potential measurement in the air with the help of a connectable flame probe
• serial data interface which can be connected to a computer with a cable that is included in the delivery
