Archimedes' principle

Principle

The students should determine the weight (force) of an object in air and then in water. From the difference they should calculate the buoyancy F_b. 

In a second experiment, the students should determine the mass of the water displaced by the immersed object; from this the weight (force) should be calculated and compared with the buoyancy.
