Principle
Small
photovoltaic systems are used e.g. for the direct supply of small
devices or for lighting purposes. In general,
this applications require higher voltages than the
ones that a cell can provide. Therefore, several cells are
connected in series. In most of the cases, LEDs are used in solar
lamps. The aim of this experiment is to determine the voltage that
is necessary to light a LED with a solar cell.
Benefits
- Part of a system solution - Easily expandable for further experiments
- easy teaching by using the demo board for demonstration
- Simplified implementation: all pre-settings already prepared
