Principle
A Pelton turbine is used to power a generator to which a small
light bulb is connected. When the flow rate of the water hitting
the buckets of the turbine increases, the turbine rotates more
quickly and, thereby, also the generator. During this experiment,
the power of the light bulb is measured at various water flow
rates.
Benefits
- Part of a system solution - Easily expandable for further experiments
- easy teaching by using the demo board for demonstration
- Simplified implementation: all pre-settings already prepared
