Principle In this experiment, the students investigate the possibility of
reuniting coloured light to white light. In addition to
strengthening their knowledge of the dispersion of light by a
prism, the foundation for the understanding of additive and
subtractive colour mixing is laid down, without which many of the
technical-optical phenomena known to them cannot be explained
(colour television, colour prints, colour slides, colour printing,
amongst others). Benefits
Tasks Can coloured light be reunited? Investigate the possibility of reuniting white light which has been split by a prism. Scope of delivery
