Principle

Improper use of electrical household appliances can be fatal - usually due to carelessness or ignorance. A model person is used to illustrate which touches in the electrical circuit are life-threatening.

Tasks

  1. Build an electrical circuit with a fuse, switch and light bulb. In a power supply network, there is an L conductor and an earthed N conductor.
  2. Use the model person to investigate the dangers posed by electric current and the earthing of the neutral conductor.

Learning objectives

The students should use the experiment to recognize the dangers of electric current.
