Electrical energy from wind energy

Article no: P9515100

Principle

Experiment using a model to generate electrical energy with the help of a windmill.

A lamp is connected to the wind generator to act as a load and the brightness of the lamp is observed for various different wind speeds.

Benefits

  • Experiment is part of a complete solution set with a total of 26 experiments for Renewable Energy solar cells, wind power, water power
  • Safe experimentation: The fan in the blower is protected against touch
  • The power supply used is versatile and is particularly suitable for pupil tests for all ages

Tasks

Can wind make a light bulb glow?
