Properties of mixtures

Article no: P7150601

Principle

Finely divided solid matter and gases can be arbitrarily mixed. Mixtures of solids are generally non-uniform. Such mixtures are termed heterogeneous. Several mixtures of iron, sand, sulphur and sodium chloride are compounded and their properties investigated.

Benefits

  • Experiment guides are very easy to understand, especially for younger students
  • Associated competences are directly linked to the experiments
  • Curriculum compatible
  • Fit for the future: implementation of tablets possible
