Mixture separation - chromatography

Article no: P7151101

Principle

Pigments can be separated by chromatography. Pigments which appear to be of a uniform colour can in reality be composed of several different-coloured substances. A further segregation of the prepared leaf pigment and a felt-tipped pen ink are shown in this experiment.

Benefits

  • Experiment guides are very easy to understand, especially for younger students
  • Associated competences are directly linked to the experiments
  • Curriculum compatible
  • Fit for the future: implementation of tablets possible
