Function and Applications

Sample holder for powder probes for x-ray diffractometry.

Benefits:

  • Aluminium sample holder to be fixed into the universal crystal holder and to be mounted into the goniometer of the x-ray unit.
  • Powder samples of the investigated material are mixed with vaseline.
  • The probe chamber is filled with the powder/ vaseline mix by use of a spatula.
