XR 4.0 expert unit, 35 kV   Function and Applications The XR 4.0 expert unit is a microprocessor-controlled X-ray system with quick-change X-ray tube technology, specifically designed for use in schools, universities, vocational training, and laboratories. As a fully shielded educational device in accordance with the requirements of the German Federal Office for Radiation Protection, it enables the safe performance of demonstration and laboratory experiments with X-rays. The rapid exchange of X-ray tubes with different anode materials (Fe, Cu, Mo, W) allows a wide range of experiments, which can be controlled and monitored directly on the device or via PC.
