Electrical Energy from Wind Power - Influence of Wind Speed, Wind Direction and Load with ADM3 Principle Wind turbines convert the energy contained in the flow of wind
into electrical energy. Wind causes the rotors to turn, which in
turn drive a generator. This generator, located in the rotor
canopy, converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The
purpose of this experiment is to investigate how a wind turbine
behaves at different wind speeds and loads and how such changes
affect the electrical output. Benefits - Part of a system solution - easily expandable for further
