Pumping water with solar energy

Article no: P9506100

Principle

When water is pumped upwards, its potential energy increases, which can easily be converted into other forms of energy, such as electrical energy, if required. This experiment investigates how high water can be pumped with one or two solar batteries.

Benefits

  • Part of a system solution - easily expandable for further experiments
  • Simple teaching by using the demo board physics
