XR 4.0 X-ray Direct Digital Image Sensor (XRIS II)

Article no: 09057-41

Function and Applications

Digital camera for conducting experiments in X-ray imaging (radiography) and X-ray computed tomography (CT). Particularly suitable for laboratory courses and lectures in physics, medicine, and materials science. A high-performance CMOS-based detector for direct digital X-ray radiography ensures outstanding image quality and high resolution with short exposure times.

Benefits

  • Direct acquisition of X-ray images using a digital X-ray detector:
  • No additional fluorescent screen required
  • Experiments can be performed under normal daylight conditions
  • Short exposure time – 360° scan in approx. 3.5 min (200 images at 0.5 s exposure time each)
  • High-performance CMOS image sensor for direct digital radiography with excellent image quality and high resolution
  • No additional space required, no external device outside the X-ray unit
  • Easy setup without adjustment; simply placed onto the optical bench of the XR4.0 system: Plug & Play
