Develop your own ecosystem in the classroom!

Function and Applications

Have you always wanted to design an ecosystem in the classroom together with your class, observe its development and even measure the changing parameters? Here we have the ideal solution. In three interconnected chambers you can freely design the composition of the system. The transparent chambers are each 29 cm high. Thus, they permit enough room for your ecosystem to grow and thrive over time. Each chamber has three holes in the lid that can either be fully sealed with stoppers or support various Cobra SMARTsense sensors for measurements. The tray not only stabilizes the setup, but also makes your ecosystem transportable.

Benefits

  • The 29 cm high chambers allow plenty of room for plants and even smaller animals.
  • The three chambers form a self-contained modulatres system to develop classroom-ready ecosystems.
  • Multiple uses: e.g., as a culture jar, humid chamber for incubation, osmosis and assimilation chamber.
  • All stoppers (without and with holes) and cotton thread are already included.
  • The transparent chamber allows observation of the inside.

Equipment and Technical Data

  • 3 cylindrical plastic vessels with lids and matching stoppers and cotton thread
  • 1 tray suitable for interconnected chambers
  • Diameter: approx. 145 mm
  • Height with lid: approx. 290 mm

The sensors shown are not included in the scope of delivery.
