Function and Application
The Helmholtz coil pair generates a large-volume homogeneous magnetic field between the coils.
It is used, among other applications, to investigate the deflection of electrons in a fine beam tube, to measure magnetic fields, or to clearly demonstrate electromagnetic effects.
Benefits
- Easy assembly and precise alignment through standardized mounts
- Robust and durable design for repeated use
- Compatible with fine beam tubes and versatile for use in other experimental setups
