Function and Applications

This apparatus provides defined, constant starting velocities for carts on the demonstration track. It can fix a cart in starting position and release with parallel trigger pulse for counter.

Catapult with cylindrically shaped housing containing helical spring for accelerating a cylinder of ferromagnetic material.
Triggering by a screw-on release.
A wire release is included.
With quick release mount for motiontrack.
