Function and Applications
Investigate phenomena in optics and atomic physics through a series of experiments, ranging from the coloration of the blue sky to the interaction of light with matter.
Basic equipment set for performing 16 student experiments on the following topics:
- Spectroscopic investigations
- Investigations with diffraction gratings
- Diffraction with everyday objects
- Absorption and fluorescence
- Determination of Planck’s constant using light-emitting diodes
- Band gap of semiconductors
- Investigation of solar cells, photodiodes, and their characteristic curves
- Electrical and optical properties of LEDs
- Polarization of light
Benefits
- Complete equipment set: Minimal preparation time and easy realisation of the experiments thanks to the digital experiment descriptions included as a QR code.
- Coordinated with the educational plans: All subject areas covered.
- Robust storage: Durable, easy to store (stackable), quick completeness check (foam insert).
- With suitable magnetic holders it can also be used as a demonstration experiment set.
Equipment and Technical Data
The equipment set consists of a storage box and contains all the basic components required to carry out the experiments. The sturdy, stackable box is equipped with a custom-fit foam insert that protects the components and enables a quick check for completeness.
