Cobra SMARTsense - Conductivity, 0...20000 µS/cm, 0...60°C (Bluetooth)

Article no: 12922-01

Function and Applications

Use the Cobra SMARTsense Conductivity to measure conductivity and temperature in the range of 0 … 20,000 µS/cm (0 … 60 °C) and investigate the basic concepts of conductivity with your pupils in a child’s play way.

With sampling rates of up to 10 Hz and a resolution of 0.1 µS/cm (0.1 °C), the digital conductivity sensor can be used flexibly in titrations as well as in soil and water analysis.

Connect the Cobra SMARTsense Conductivity wirelessly via Bluetooth to the free and award-winning measuring software measureAPP – available for iOS, Android, Windows and Linux.

Switch on. Connect. Start measuring.

Benefits

  • Get started straight away with any Bluetooth-enabled device and the free measureAPP.
  • Intelligent and efficient power management for up to 50 teaching hours with one battery.
  • Up to 10 readings per second guarantee precision.
  • The conductivity sensor allows convenient measurement of the conductivity of solutions and display of the real-time progression curve.
  • Ideally suited for titrations in which the equivalence point is determined via the minimum conductivity.

Technical Specification

  • Measuring channel:
    • Conductivity
      • Measuring range: 0 … 20,000 µS/cm
      • Resolution: 0.1 µS/cm
    • Temperature
      • Measuring range: 0 … 60 °C
      • Resolution: 0.1 °C
  • Sampling rate: up to 10 Hz (Bluetooth)
  • Bluetooth version: 5.0
  • The electrode is permanently integrated into the sensor and is stored continuously in contact with liquid in the protective cap.
  • The sensor is waterproof according to IP67. It requires a battery (coin cell CR2032), which is not included.
