Student set environment and outdoors digital, standard for 4 working group, TESS advanced Biology, ex-EU

Article no: 12638-89D

Function and Applications

The digital set allows you to use the latest measurement technology for your environmental and outdoor analysis and is very easy to use. In addition to classic parameters such as temperature, air pressure, brightness, relative humidity, pH, conductivity and water turbidity, the weather station allows you to make complete weather observations and even collect GPS data in the field. The Cobra SMARTlink can not only be used as an interface for the sensors, but also offers additional flexibility for group work with its built-in sensors.

This kit is ideal for collaborative experimentation with groups of students.
In all experiments, the Cobra SMARTsense sensors for Temperature, Pressure, Light, Humidity, pH, Colorimeter (for turbidity measurement), Soil Moisture and Conductivity are used in combination with the award-winning and free measureAPP.

Benefits

  • Complete kit: Minimal preparation time and easy experiment delivery thanks to the digital experiment instructions provided as QR codes.
  • By being conducted digitally on a mobile device, all experiments offer educational benefits over the traditional method.
  • Suitable for use in the classroom, outdoors or during project days.
  • The evaluation can also be carried out at home as homework.
  • Four working groups can work on and investigate interesting topics in parallel.
  • Perfectly tailored to digital science lessons using tablets and smartphones (iOS and Android).
  • Faster & greater learning success: the use of digital devices boosts engagement and thus increases learners’ motivation.
  • In this sturdy aluminium case, you will always find the right equipment to carry out fascinating experiments with groups of pupils.

Technical Specification

The kit consists of a particularly sturdy aluminium case and contains all the essential components and SMARTsense sensors required to carry out the experiments. The case is fitted with a custom-fit foam insert that protects the components and allows for a quick check to ensure everything is present.
