Working plate for microbiology, 14 cm x 13 cm - for LAB2

Article no: 32223-05
Function and Applications
The work plate for microbiological work makes it possible to use the sterile zone generated by the device. Four plates can be fitted per LAB2 electric burner (one per side). Four test tubes and two Petri dishes can be placed on each of these plates.

Benefits
  • Working in the sterile area: Samples and equipment stand in the low-germ area of the burner.
  • Up to four plates per device: Four plates can be arranged around one burner, so that up to 16 test tubes and 8 Petri dishes are available at the same time.
  • Short distances, less contamination: Placing down, flaming and inoculating all take place without leaving the sterile zone – the number of contamination-prone handling steps is reduced.
  • Flaming without an open flame: The inoculation loop is annealed in the column of hot air of the electric burner; fuel gas and an open flame are not required in the microbiological working area.
Technical Specification
  • Dimensions: 14 cm x 13 cm, height 6 cm
  • Capacity per plate: 4 test tubes and 2 Petri dishes
  • Arrangement: up to 4 plates per burner
