Function and Applications

Shatterproof protective disc on wooden base. The protective screen is used, among other things, to shield students from potentially hazardous substances caused by accidental splashes or sprays. In physics experiments (especially when using moving parts or overpressure), the protective screen is used to protect students from flying parts.
