Set prism glasses in a suitcase

Article no: DID-43003

Function and Applications
The inversion or prism glasses were developed for experiments in the field of human biology on sensory and nerve physiology. They are particularly suitable for experiments on human optical perception and are also suitable for people who wear glasses.
The glasses are made of soft, supple plastic. They are equipped with 2 high-quality, optical inversion prisms from a well-known German manufacturer in aluminium diaphragms. The mounting of the lenses in the goggles is very easy by means of a foldable stem and screw rings. Ventilation domes prevent fogging, and they are held to the head with a textile stretch band.
The prisms can be rotated independently of each other with their diaphragms in the goggles. In this way, top and bottom, left and right can be swapped individually for each eye and, for example, the world can be turned upside down. The visual impression of a newborn as well as squinting can be recreated for each eye individually. If the glasses are worn continuously, a habituation effect occurs after some time, so that full ability to act is given again.
Due to their high quality, the reversing prisms in their apertures are also excellently suited in physics lessons for demonstrating light refraction, the path of rays and the spectrum of light. For this purpose, they can be easily used on optical benches by means of standard holders (tabs).
