Water treatment in sewage treatment plants

Article no: P7155100
Principle

A sewage treatment plant converts dirty waste water by mechanical and chemical-biological processes in clean water. One of these purification steps are the gravel / sand filters. In sewage treatment plants for water treatment a combined system of gravel / sand filters and activated carbon filters are used. This experiment simulate this principle, a filter system of sand and gravel is constructed and their operation methode is analized.
