Function and Applications
Use the Cobra SMARTsense Force & Acceleration to measure forces and accelerations of up to ± 50 N (± 16 g or ± 34.9 rad/s) and investigate the basic concepts of mechanics with your pupils in a child’s play way.
With sampling rates of up to 1 kHz and a resolution of 30 mN (0.01 g or 0.01 rad), the digital force sensor can be used flexibly in experiments ranging from Hooke’s law to Moments of inertia and torsional vibrations.
Connect the Cobra SMARTsense Force & Acceleration wirelessly via Bluetooth or wired via USB to the free and award-winning measuring software measureAPP – available for iOS, Android, Windows and Linux.
Switch on. Connect. Start measuring.
Benefits
- Get started straight away with any Bluetooth-enabled device and the free measureAPP.
- Intelligent and efficient power management for up to 50 teaching hours on one battery charge.
- Up to 1,000 readings per second guarantee precision.
- In addition to force, this sensor also measures the acceleration resulting from the applied external force.
- The sensor can be easily mounted on any support rod with a diameter of up to 12 mm using the supplied knurled nut.
