Function and Applications
The clamp holder has two small hooks that can be securely hung into the perforated grid of the plate for complete experiments (45510-00), allowing the attached devices to be safely fixed to the plate. Opposite these hooks, at the lower end of the holder, there are two extensions with eyelets. When the holder is hung into the plate, these extensions pass through the holes of the grid so that a spring cotter pin (45530-00) can be inserted into each eyelet. This secures the holder to the plate in such a way that it can only be removed after the cotter pins have been taken out. In addition, two small magnets are located above the extensions with eyelets, ensuring that the holder does not rattle once hung on the plate. (These magnets do not serve a holding or securing function.)
With the holder for the glass jacket, the glass jacket (02615-00) can be attached to the plate for complete experiments. For this purpose, the glass jacket with the mounted accessories is inserted into the holder and clicked into the two spring clips.
