Principle

Having completed their measurements on an unloaded beam (see ME 2.13), the students should now determine the effect of a load on the loading pressure in dependence on the point of application of the load to the beam.

In the evaluation the influence of a load on one end of the force's characteristic curves should be worked out. This should be done with regard to the experiments on the laws of levers which follow later.
