Function and Application
The Hall effect unit is used for holding and supplying Hall effect carrier boards with doped and undoped germanium crystals. It enables temperature-dependent measurement of Hall voltage and conductivity.
Benefits
- Fork-shaped metal housing with integrated 3-digit 9 mm LED display for indicating sample temperature and drive current
- Thermal overload protection with automatic shutdown for the sample heater
- Adjustable constant current and Hall voltage compensation
- Selection of different maximum temperatures during the heating process
- Simple plug-in system for inserting carrier boards (see accessories)
- Guide groove for Hall probe
- USB port for direct connection to a PC, no additional interface required
- Magnetic field sensor (13610-02) can be connected directly to the Hall effect module, which transfers all measured values synchronously to the PC
- 4 mm safety sockets for tapping Hall and sample voltage and for supplying the operating voltage
- Control in experiments compatible with the measureLAB software
