Principle
In this experiment, the students observe the cooling of hot water in two screw-top glasses. One of the glasses is insulated by a foam block. They find that insulation by foam ensures that the water in this screw-top glass cools down more slowly. In this experiment, thermal insulation is investigated using the example of the cooling of hot water in a glass insulated by foam.
