Function and Applications
The ECOFLAM fuel tablets produce an open flame for experiments that require a visible flame. A tablet is placed directly on the grid of the LAB2 electric burner or on one of the combustion plates, where it ignites by itself and burns for about two minutes.
Benefits
- A flame without a gas installation: Carry out experiments with a flame without a gas connection, a gas cartridge or an ignition device. The entire hazard potential of the gas supply is eliminated.
- Experimenting without an ignition device: The tablet is ignited by the column of hot air from the burner; no lighter or match is needed.
- Limited fire load: The burning time of around two minutes per tablet keeps the flame time and the amount of fuel to a low level.
