Function and Applications

Use the Cobra SMARTsense Radioactivity to measure alpha, beta and gamma radiation with up to 40,000 counts/min (cpm) and investigate the basic concepts of radioactivity with your pupils in a child’s play way.

With sampling rates of up to 10 Hz and a resolution of 1 count, the digital radioactivity sensor can be used flexibly in experiments ranging from background radiation to the behaviour of radioactive radiation in a magnetic field.

Connect the Cobra SMARTsense Radioactivity wirelessly via Bluetooth or wired via USB to the free and award-winning measuring software measureAPP – available for iOS, Android, Windows and Linux.
