Principle

This student experiment includes a demonstration of the principle of magnetic separation. In order to demonstrate the technical separation of mixtures, iron filings are separated from sand. The student experiment demonstrates the importance of this method, which is also known as magnetic separation, for our everyday life, e.g. for waste separation.
