Principle
The simple circuit consists of a power source, a light bulb, and a switch. By setting up the experiment and varying the individual parts, learners learn how to read the corresponding circuit diagram and what function the individual parts perform.
Tasks
- Set up the circuit diagram according to the illustrations.
- Open and close the switch, noting your observations.
- Vary the circuit in different ways and note your observations.
Learning objectives
Students should recognize that electric current can only flow in a closed circuit. They should memorize the components or elements used and their circuit symbols and functions, and from the beginning of their electricity lessons, they should be able to build circuits according to circuit diagrams and reproduce experimental setups using circuit diagrams.
Benefits
- High-contrast printing of electrical symbols on the top.
- Minimal preparation time and easy execution of the experiment thanks to digital experiment descriptions.
