Principle

In this experiment an electric motor consisting of a permanent magnet and a bar magnet is to be constructed in two different ways. The student so learns the basic mode of functioning of an electric motor.

Benefits

  • Simple design of all components, so that the student can easily recognise their function
  • The possibility to set up function models gradually, so that functional relations between components can be understood
  • No tools required for assembly
