Principle

The secondary current of a loaded transformer depends on the number of turns of both coils, which can be used to generate high currents. By selecting coils with the respective numbers of turns, a high current transformer produces a current that brings actually thick pieces of metal to glow or even to melt.

Benefits

  • Demonstrative visualisation of the possibilities of a high current transformer
