Plate for the combustion of metal powders - for LAB2

Function and Applications

The plate is used for the combustion of metal powderswith ECOFLAM tablets. It is placed on the support grid of the LAB2 electricburner. A fuel tablet is placed centrally in the recess of the plate on theburner and the powder is sprinkled into the resulting flame.

Benefits

• Easy removal of residues: The combustionproducts of the metal powder collect on the plate and can easily be removedonce they have cooled down.
• Protection of the device: Molten beads and ashland on the plate and not on the support grid – cleaning the burner takes lesseffort.
• A classic experiment without gas: Combustion of metal powders remains possible in class even though thedevice itself requires no fuel gas.
