Function and Applications
This is a handy infrared thermometer with an excellent price/performance ratio that uses a laser to measure surface temperatures quickly, easily and accurately. The laser can be used to target hot surfaces or moving objects, allowing the operator to easily detect the temperatures to be measured from a safe distance. With a trigger, the unit activates and takes a precise (0.1°C resolution) temperature reading in a flash. The three function keys next to the screen toggle between °C and °F, activate the laser and the display backlight.
For measuring body temperature in humans, we recommend the infrared forehead thermometer (item no. 04167-00).
