Function and Applications

The "3 in 1" smoker model clearly and impressively illustrates the effects of active, passive and indirect contact with smoke. The tar that accumulates in the lungs when smoking a cigarette is collected on a semi-circular filter. The tar that would reach the lungs of a passive smoker can be seen on another semi-circular filter. The effect of deposits from smoking can be observed on the wall of the transparent cylinder. The chemical residues of tobacco smoke can be collected with a cotton bud.
